This is a cylindrical tea bowl similar in style to the “Tengu” with the Raku character mark. The mouth is slightly bent at the edge, the body is spatula-shaped, the waist is unique, and the stand is extremely large and sturdy. The height of the stand is also very large and sturdy. It is an unusual form not seen in the typical Rikyu style. It is housed in an old rustic box with the inscription “Raku ware cylindrical tea bowl” on the front of the lid and “Kirikirisun (flower stamp)” on the back, written in the style of Souatsu.
