Chōjirō: tea bowl, known as "Yugure", Red Raku

Height 8.Ion, mouth diameter 10.3cm, high stand diameter 4.5cm
 This tea bowl is quite thick in general. The mouth is gently undulating with shallow carving near the mouth. The waist is rounded, the base rises high, the tatami mat is rounded, and the width of the helmet stands high within the base. The entire body is covered with a thick glaze with penetrations, which may be a transparent glaze applied over red clay. There are five large marks on the prospective value. On the back of the lid of the inner box, there is an inscription by Muneaki, “Sorahana: Sorahana: Non-judgement (Hanashii),” and on the back of the outer box, there is an inscription by Itto, “Chojiro ware red tea bowl, Sotan box, Shozuke: Sorahana: Kakusei Zesho Ari (Hanashii),” with an accompanying inscription by Kakusei Haraso.
