This is the same four-way corner mukozuke, but it is also used as a hibiru because of its excellent workmanship. The four corners are deep and clear, and the center of the bottom is rounded off in a go-zeki style. The four sides are decorated with paintings of sailing boats on waves and trees on mountains, etc., in light brushwork. The glaze over the entire body is thin but softly fired, and the mouth rim and ridges are faintly reddish.
The reddish color of the base is particularly vivid, and there are traces of a ring shape on the bottom.
