Height 8.6 cm, mouth diameter 25.5 cm
This deep bowl with a tiered rim has a deep, deep prospect, and the design of a mountain range is beautifully depicted with a strong brush stroke as if it were an ink painting. The inside is covered with a pattern of fine lines and dots, and the mouth rim is decorated with a straw-like pattern. The glaze, which is thickly applied over the entire piece, is well melted, but the reddish tinge is barely apparent. It has legs on three sides of the bottom. This is one of the Shino pots with the most highly pictorial style of design, and the kiln is believed to have been the former residence of Kushiri.
