This is a semi-tubular tea bowl with a distorted body as if it were a kutsu chawan, and the outer three sides are decorated with three-tiered horizontal lines. On the bottom of the body, a lotus petal design, which is rare for Shino teacups, is painted, and a reddish color appears on the edge of the mouth through the thick glaze. Both the shape and the design are rare for Shino tea bowls.
