This is a teacup with a hinokagaki design in nezushino shino, but it is slightly different from “Sazanami” and is rather similar to “Chaoyo” and others. The mouth is slightly triangular in shape, with a strong step at the waist, and a large, rounded base. After the oni-ita (oni-board) is applied, the hinokigaki design is scraped off in two steps and glazed with a feldspar glaze, which is a bluish gray color.
