This mukozuke has a four-sided stroked rim that is folded inward, and the bottom has legs on three sides. The sword is decorated with three birds of prey, which are typical of swallows, and the sword guard is decorated with a spotted motif and other border patterns. The glaze is a dark rat color and is burnished red on the bottom.
