This is a semi-short tea bowl with a thin strap around the body. The waist is shallowly shaped. The flat bottom is of the go-zoko type, with the center shallowly carved, and the body is carved with a floral arabesque. The body is carved in lines with floral arabesques, one side is covered in vitriol only, the other side has iron on the flowers and vitriol on the leaves. On the other side, the flowers are decorated with iron and the leaves with vitreous alum. The prospective owner has carved a line with a design of cherry blossoms with two glazed blossoms and branches. The flowers are covered with iron and the leaves with a thin layer of vitriol. The Kizeto glaze, applied thickly over the entire surface, is evenly applied to produce a moist, fried skin. This is originally a mukozuke ware. It is a neatly made tea bowl. It once belonged to the Fujita family.
