Yellow Seto incense caddy in nebuto (short, fat hōshu) shape

Height of the lid 3.5 cm, diameter of the body 4.6 cm, diameter of the bottom 3.0 cm.
 This is a type of hoshu incense container, but is called neda among tea masters. This is the first masterpiece among Neda kagai. Both the shape and the glaze are in perfect condition. It has an inro lid style with a goze bottom and a slightly deep rounded notch in the center of the bottom. The top and the left and right sides are decorated with iron, while the left and right sides are decorated with large and small spots of alumite. The vitriol is dark. The yellow-seto glaze is moist and ideally fired. The vitriol has been removed from the reverse side, and the glaze on the bottom is soft, and the burnt surface is very rich in flavor. It was once in the Hirase family.
