The rim of this rather large bowl is bell-shaped, and the inside is deeply carved in the style of chrysanthemums with fingers. It is thought to be a somewhat early work as an iris handled Kiseto pot. It has a powerful yet simple appearance. The iris flower is carved in sharp lines on the prospective surface, and the surface is dotted with gallbladder. The front is decorated with sharply engraved iris blossoms, and the back is decorated with a dot of alumite. There are four clear eye marks on the surface of the prospect, and the lowered base has traces of a glaze pattern. It was donated to the Tokyo National Museum by Hirota Matsushige.
