This incense container has a zigzag shape, and the bottom has been cut away to form a low tripod shape, probably by hand. Both the body and lid are half glazed with green glaze, and the lid shell is painted with a skewered dumpling design and a horizontal stripe pattern on the side surface, which is covered with a feldspar glaze. The glazed surface is softly burnished. This is a particularly richly flavored masterpiece among Oribe incense containers.
