This water jar has a wide base with a chrysanthemum-shaped decoration on the top. This is one of the rarest and best examples of a red Oribe sui-jingu (water jar).
The chrysanthemum design is roughly depicted in white and iron rust on a red ground, but it is full of the atmosphere of the Keicho period.
