Together with the Oribe fan-faced lids, this is an excellent example of fan-shaped lids, of which there are two or three other examples.
The design on the front of the lids is like that of a fan face, with a longitudinal stripe pattern representing the bone, a curved pattern on the fan face, rivets at the key, and a floating pattern of the bone on the border. The lid has a pier along the shape of the vessel, and the bottom is guttural and has legs on three sides.
