The most common type of lidded bowls are long ones. Some of them have lost their lids, and only the 89th body is used as a square bowl. This lidded bowl is an excellent example with a brilliant finish, and the checkered pattern on the front of the lid and the green glaze are skillfully applied. The front of the lid is decorated with a grapevine shelf and the sides with a calendar and diagonal line patterns.
The back of the bowl is pierced on two sides and the bottom has legs on all four sides. There are three eye marks on each of the two sides.
