Height 8.9 cm, mouth diameter 8.5 x 8.6 cm, base diameter 5.2 cm
This is probably the most elegant of the many “ekaratsu” porcelains produced by the Uchida Saraya Kiln. It is also rather large in size, so it is used as a hibi (fire bowl). The hem of the body is rounded, and the four sides from the mouth to the body are covered with iron paints on the rim, with a radial stripe pattern on one side and an arrowhead pattern on the other, which is also seen on kushidango dumplings and Shino ware. The iron-enameled pattern is clearly and vividly expressed on a rat ground.
