 This is a small Tenmoku type tea bowl, but the base has been carved out to a large size, and the Tenmoku form is quite distorted. There are many tea bowls of this type, and they were fired in several kilns. The inside and outside are covered with black ame glaze, and some of them have sea squirt glaze. It was excavated from the kiln site of Kinsekihara in the Matsuura lineage.
