This is a large tea bowl with a curved mouth, similar in shape to the Kumagawa of the Koryo tea bowls, which is rare in Karatsu. The entire bowl is thick, and the height is a little high, and the inside is deep and strong. It is covered with iron glaze inside and out and with feldspar glaze from around the mouth to the outside, and the inside is fired to a brownish-brown color. It was recently excavated from the ruins of a kiln in Ushi.
