This large dish has a guarded rim at the mouth and is decorated with a single iris plant in a masterful brushwork. The base is rounded and small in size, and shows the unique clay skin of the Ichinose Koraishin with fine feldspar grains around the base.
The clay seems to contain iron powder, and iron appears like sesame seeds in the glaze. It was excavated from the Ichinose Koraishin Kiln. There are four marks on the surface.
