This is another fine example of a bar-tip mizusashi, and is probably the most outstanding one in its category as far as we have been able to determine. Both of these pieces have been spatula-trimmed and squeezed, but the overall shape is very tight. The mouths are slightly tapered inward, and the rims are sharply sloped. The bottom of the potter’s wheel is covered with red clay, and the wheel is clearly wheel-thrown in 11 steps. The bottom of the potter’s wheel has a kiln mark carved in spatula.
