This flat jar has a long neck and a slightly high flattened body with a rounded mouth. It is a long-necked, slightly tall, flattened jar with a rounded mouth. Three suriza are attached to each side of the stroked shoulder, and the bottom is spatula-patterned in four directions. The shoulders are covered with ash and the base is burnished red or dark brown. One side of the body is heavily indented with a vertical spatula, and a large circle is drawn on the other side. The entire body is thick and heavy to the touch. Kiln marks on the side and neck. The inside has a thick engraving of a kiln mark. It appears to be by the same artist as the gourd-shaped tea caddy, and the workmanship is similar. This is an excellent example of a flattened jar.
