The scarlet colored tasuki (scarlet colored tasuki) is expressed as a mesh pattern. It is slightly flattened and has a ball-shaped rim around the mouth. The clay surface is somewhat hard and tight. It is probably the finest platter in existence. The back of the dish has a brush pattern of lacquered clay, and the word “Kano” is carved in spatula.
