This vessel has a unique shape with the mouth end dropped one level inward and the shoulders flattened, and the body narrowed down one level to form a broad base, with large ears on the left and right sides and a stroking square on the top. The front is covered with a beadlo glaze with a beautiful scene of ash falling heavily, and the back is burnished red. There is a streak of iron glaze running down the side of the ear.
