It is molded in the shape of a shoulder with a clear ridge on the shoulder and a hem opening. It seems to have been named “Hi-Doshi” in reference to the reddish baked clay skin. The body has two spatula-shaped lines and is covered with ash glaze from the tip of the shoulder to the hem. The inside of the body is spatula-engraved with a kiln mark, and on the back of the lid of the box, there is an inscription by Urasenke 8th generation Mata-gensai Itto, “Shikaraki mizusashi Sodan inscribed Hiwotoshi (Hanaseki)”.
