 It is not clear whether this is an Iga or Shigaraki ware. The clay surface is suitable for being called Shigaraki. The rounded shoulder has large ears on both sides, and the front is covered with a thick layer of ash, giving it a decayed-leaf color, with some bluish tints. The front of the container is covered with a thick layer of ash, giving it a kutuba (decayed leaves) color with some bluish tints.
