It has a single-layer mouth with a gentle bulge from the mouth to the base of the body and a flat bottom. The bottom is flat. There is no ash on the surface, and the upper surface is softly burnished with a warm reddish color. The back of the vase is decorated with a kingpin, but it is not clear whether or not it was made as a flower vase. It is thought to be one of the oldest works of this type.
