This is a rare example of a cup body that has been transformed into a kind of shape by maximizing the curvature of the lid holder. The lid has knob knob and the body is fitted with a lid cover, which is common to other vessels. The bottom of the body has been scraped flat. The base is made of fine gray clay, and the firing process is very precise.
