 This vessel has the same shape as the so-called “ship’s tokuri” seen in Bizen and other areas, and is also called a “turnip tokuri. The body is rounded and rounded, and the bottom is flat and large, giving it a very stable appearance. The entire surface is coated in clay, and the reddish-brown fired surface is covered with an ash glaze in the shape of a sea squirt. The bottom of the bowl has five marks and some brush marks.
