Tamba Water jar
Tamba Water jar

Height 16.3 cm, mouth diameter 11.5 cm, bottom diameter lO.2 cm.
This is not a water jar, but probably a miscellaneous vessel.
It is a simple piece with a slightly thicker molding. The mouth to the middle of the body is painted with iron-colored dobe, and the lower half is painted with red dobe. The bottom half of the body is painted in red dobe. The ash on one side of the body creates a vivid scene, so it is likely that a tea master used it as a water jar. A circular mark remains on the bottom.
