This is a Tamba-style Chinese-style Chinese-style sake cup with a flat bottom. The upper part of the body has a band with a linear pattern, below which is a square mark with a paulownia pattern inside, and the kiln mark “&” is engraved in relief on the upper back. The paulownia pattern may have been a family crest. It is painted with dobe and fired to a dark brown color, with a thin layer of ash glaze from the mouth to the bottom. It is probably from the early Edo period.
