This rounded jar with a high neck and stroked shoulders is clearly in the Yi Dynasty style. However, the rounded shoulders and the overall balance of the vessel give it a Japanese flavor that is not found in the Yi Dynasty. The neck is decorated with an anchor-toothed lotus petal design, and the two sides of the body are decorated with a three-tiered landscape design of thick clay dust, but the design is no longer in the Yi Dynasty style, but has become more Japanese in style. The four sides of the shoulders are said to have had ears, but these are now all missing. The base is quite rough, with holes appearing here and there. The base has been cut down quite deeply.
