　This is one of the most beautiful large pieces of export porcelain from the Genroku period, and is a perfect example with a matching lid. The octagonal body is roughly decorated with a hydrangea design in vivid colors, while the shoulders are covered with cherry blossoms in an arabesque style and the hem is decorated with a unique continuous pattern.
