　This is an excellent work of a five-sun plate in overglaze enamels. The design is full of New Year’s sentiment, centering on an inlaid leaf with a white underglaze blue and white underglaze blue. The red lines on the stems of the leaves bring a gorgeous touch to the light color scheme. The outside is covered with a peony arabesque pattern. The light color tones of this type of color painting are characteristic of Nabeshima, where a dignified style was the primary objective.
