The entire surface is covered with cherry blossoms painted with red lines, and the rim is finely crafted according to the petals. The base is quite high compared to the shape of the bowl, and the sides of the base are covered with a petal design in the kensaki style, which later became more formalized, in underglaze blue. It is said to have come in a set of five, but this is a unique example. It is probably an old Nabeshima from Minamikawara.
