Height 4.Ocm, mouth diameter 15.7cm x 13.0cm, base diameter 9.2cm x 6.1cm
The mouth is covered with a blue-mm glaze. The two sides of the reverse side show a roughly oriziate design, but the color tone of the underglaze blue is dark and the brush strokes are sparse and not yet formal. This is a characteristic of old Nabeshima, and the comb pattern of some-damien over the base of the bowl is also rough. The glaze was applied over a raw glaze, and the piece may have been made in the Minamikawara domain kiln.
