Height 8.5 cm, mouth diameter 43.0 cm, base diameter 10.7 cm
The composition is almost the same as that of the large dish with a chrysanthemum and water stream design in a tortoiseshell shell, but a quail and floral motifs are gently displayed in a white slip in the center, and the surrounding tortoiseshell shell is framed by a five-layered band of colored patterns, with a crane circle design in the center. Although slightly smaller than the large dish with chrysanthemum and water stream design, this is also a very large piece. The peony arabesque design on the reverse side is not as wild as the previous one, but it is done in underglaze blue with purple on the petals, yellow on the stamens, and green on the leaves of the arabesque. The inscription on the base is inscribed with the Chinese character “fuku” (blessing).
