In the middle of the 7th century, the shape of the vase changed to one with a narrow jaw and a mouth diameter close to that of the body. The mouth rim band is still clearly defined, but it tends to be more inward. The sunken lines and comb patterns in the center of the body disappeared, and the bowls became more degenerate, as in the case of this bowl, with the paintings rising to the shoulders.
