The late 7th century hasō is dwarfed and shows a marked tendency toward degeneration as a whole.
The neck becomes narrower and the mouth rim opens in a trumpet shape, but the distinction between the mouth rim band and the neck disappears, and the length of the mouth and neck as a whole becomes shorter. The body of the vessel loses its design, and the spout protrudes significantly. As with other vessels, the bottom becomes flat. The firing temperature is high, and a green natural glaze covers the grayish-white base.
