In the Kofun period, Sue ware of the same type became huge in the first half of the 6th century and the latter half of the 7th century. This is probably symbolic of the period in which the ritualistic color of the vessels became stronger. This vessel was buried in the back of a side-hole stone chamber together with a large-sized table. The ware is well fired, with significant natural glaze flow.
