This flat, shade-shaped incense container is brushed with white mud and engraved with lines to depict the winds of Mishima. The left side of the flat bottom is stamped with a small oval seal of “Seikanji” (Seikanji Temple), and the cover of the inner box is inscribed “Kasa Koryo” (Kasa Koryo) on the front. It was handed down to the Matsuura family.
