This is another example of the intricate workmanship unique to Kyoyaki. It is a hanging flower vase with a long, flat floral tube attached to the back of a fan. The fan has cloisonne openwork on the frame and a lion and peony design on the fan surface, and red overglaze painting is rare for this type of Kyoyaki. The design suggests that it was made around the Genroku period (1688-1704).
