　This hexagonal three-tiered stacked box has a metal strap and a lid with a chrysanthemum openwork. The sides of each tier are roughly openworked with a cloisonne pattern, and the ground is fully decorated with a tortoiseshell pattern. Although the design is simple, the openwork is effective and gives the box a luxurious appearance. The bottom has legs on three sides. These stacked boxes are one of the most representative examples of Kyo-yaki ware, as it is the craftsmanship in which Kyo-yaki excelled.
