This is a pierced incense burner with a Kinzan-style cloud-pattern design, which was the style that Dohachi was most skilled at, and it consists of a body and a lid, with a cord attached to three sides of the body. The cloud-pattern design is vividly expressed, and this is a rare work that is unlike any of Dohachi’s other cloud-patterned works.
