Michihachi left behind many sculptures of the god of happiness and longevity, such as this one, and this is one of his best works. It is made from a fine, soft clay, and depicts the god of happiness and longevity sitting on a rock, with white and green glazes on the folds of his robe and purple glaze on the rock. On the inside, the inscription “Toshinaami Zou, Fukuju Kaiun Hōki” is written, and on the lid of the box, “Nankyokusei” is written on the front and “Toshinaami Hōkyō” on the back.
