On the lid of the box that comes with the tea bowl, the words “Kenzan style bowl, made by Do-hachi, the potter” are written.
It is an interesting design that makes you think that there may have been a Kenzan original. The design is vivid in color, with thick lines depicting white daikon radishes on the inside and outside of the vessel, and a green glaze on the base. The name “Do-hachi” is written in underglaze blue on the foot ring.
