This is a piece from the Sanage kiln, judging from the firing. Bowls with short, wide mouths like this one were produced in large quantities at the Sanage kiln from the 8th to the 10th century. They were not glazed with ash, as they were everyday utensils. It is a water-ground wheel-thrown form, and there are traces of thread cutting on the underside of the bottom. The firing is good.
