This pottery is thought to date from the first half of the 11th century, judging from the large opening at the mouth rim and the loss of tension in the shoulders. It is made of white fine quality clay and wheel-thrown, leaving a thread cutting mark on the bottom. It is very thin and elaborately finished on the potter’s wheel. The brush-applied ash glaze is well fused, giving the vase a light green color with some sky-blue tints, which gives the vase its unique appearance.
