This pottery is made of high quality clay and is well fired, with an iron fire color on the surface.
There are eight watermarks on the low foot, with chinkansen lines in the middle of the watermarks, and a bamboo pipe design is stamped on each of the three lines. The upper surface has only a low rim band around the periphery, and the inner surface is flat, with no distinction between land and sea. It is from the Sanage kiln.
