Height: 8.0 cm, Mouth Diameter: 10.6 cm, Foot Diameter: 5.8 cm
This piece is attributed to Ōhi IV. The body is rounded and full, the lower section is smooth and rounded, and the rim features gently undulating, irregular contours. The foot is large, with a low, swastika-shaped rim inside the foot ring, and the interior is shaped to hold a deep pool of tea. The entire piece is covered in a bright amber glaze, but on one side of the exterior, a single branch of plum blossoms is painted in white slip, and on the other side, the characters “Oyama” are carved. It was likely made as a personal item for a feudal lord.
