Aventurin Glaze

A soft crystalline glaze resembling natural aventurine (gold dust). Golden mica-like scales appear in the glaze layer, and the reflection of the light makes it very brilliant. In ordinary crystalline glazes, crystal patterns are deposited on the surface and can be seen to the touch, but in aventurine glazes, the gold spots are in the glaze layer and the surface of the glaze is smooth.
