Specialties. Korean tea bowl, Soba. The light blue glaze and light yellow glaze are alternated on one side of the bowl, giving it the appearance of the lingering moon in the morning sky. It is also known as Kawamura Soba because it belonged to Kawamura Yabaso, a member of the Edo Juminin, or Ten Masters of the Edo Period. It was given to the Makoshi family of Tokyo by Den’ei, a son of Kawamura Kawamura. (Chakki Meirisho, Taisho Meikikan)
